Evelyn is our new Project Manager for the T1DThink Tank Network. She is an ambitious and experienced project manager with Type 1 diabetes that has had successful delivery of Client Solutions. She has enjoyed a successful career managing a variety of projects in various industries over the past 20 years. Her first project was to build her own car (the Kelmark GT) a kit car that she still drives when she can. She has worked for companies such as General Motors, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) of Canada and Canadian Tire to name a few.
Experience has provided her the opportunity to be proficient in various project methodologies and gave her the ability to be a strong and effective liaison between project teams, business customers and project vendors. She obtained a Masters certification in Project Management from York University and is a member of the (PMI) Project Management Institute.
She volunteers for the Canadian Diabetes Association and using her project management skills help start the CDA North York Chapter. She also uses her skills to facilitate Diabetes Self Management Training for the South Riverdale Community Health Centre and enjoys being a close liaison between many Type 1 diabetes support groups.
Evelyn’s enthusiasm, knowledge and experience in project management and Type 1 diabetes will be a great fit for the T1DTTN. She looks forward being your key contact, and together, we can help elevate the T1D Think Tank Network collaborative community to the next level.
