She started by working with her father, raising funds for Camp Huronda, a camp for children living with Type 1 Diabetes. She also volunteered for Diabetes Canada for over 15 years and then took on a position in the organization as Manager of Mission Funding, Southern Ontario and worked her way to finally becoming Senior Manager of Ontario. Lori is a community connector and believes in growing partnerships, having worked with many Type 1 organizations with a major focus on partnerships and sponsorships. She also brings knowledge of IT and CRM through her background as a VP of Client Services and Project Management for an IT company.
