The Type 1 Diabetes Film Festival

The Type 1 Diabetes Film Festival is a fun, creative competition designed to engage the transitioning generation of people with Type 1 Diabetes: those aged 14-28.

It’s an exciting medium to communicate stories: the challenges of becoming an adult while dealing with diabetes.

This year’s theme is “What I Don't Tell My Endo".  Share your story about what you don't tell your Endocrinologist, nurse educator, social worker or care team partner for your chance to win $500!

Film it on your cell phone, or on a fancy camera, with friends or as a selfie, in a skit or a song. Get as creative as you can. We can't wait to see what our entrants create!

The T1D Video Festival offers a 1st place cash prize of $500!

Submissions are being accepted now and will continue until International Diabetes Day - November 14, 2018.

The theme of the 2018 Film Festival is “What I Don't Tell My Endo.” But it’s important to note that submissions need not be a literal reflection of the theme. That is to say, creative interpretations are more than welcome.

Go to Rules and Regulations for more info and continue here to Submit your Film.

Join the Type 1 Diabetes Think Tank Network to get regular updates on the festival, and other super cool events in the Type 1 Diabetes community.
